MAXIMUM man Ade Larner’s excellent form continued, but his three 180s could not stop Carterton SC losing 6-3 at Kidlington Green SC.

There were treble 20s galore in the Greene King ODDA Winter League allPremier Section clash.

Dave Fowler and Neal Russell claimed maximums to put the hosts 2-1 up.

Carterton, who had got on the board through Robert Adnams, hit back to lead thanks to wins from Tom Baughan and Larner, who took his 180 tally to seven in three matches.

But Sean Holly won to level the scores and the Green Club swept the pairs.

Section 1 side Goodlake Arms claimed a Premier Section scalp with a 6-3 win at home to Cowley Workers.

Les Radford (180), Brian Grant, Simon Key (180) and Simon Davison saw them race into a big lead.

Although Pete Hall and Jon Jukes reduced the gap, Goodlake won the pairs 2-1 to seal an upset.

Corner House B crushed Crown Inn 8-1 in the top flight of the ladies’ section.
