ABI Haynes and Amberley Vircavs both fired doubles as Kidlington Under 16s maintained their 100 per cent record in the Oxford Mail Girls League with a 5-1 win away to Benson United.

A blustery wind affected this match, as it did nearly all of the games, and Kidlington took advantage of it late in the second half by sealing victory.

Mill Simmonds scored Kidlington’s other goal, with Mollie Gallagher netting for Benson.

Mollie Farr notched the winner for Tower Hill as they beat Bloxham 1-0 in an excellent game.

Harwell & Hendred Under 14s found Swindon Spitfires too strong, with the Wiltshire side winning 10-1, Aimee Prinzi scoring five of them.

Lauren Wood got Harwell’s goal, with Genevieve Bayliss (2), Chloe Neate, Shannon Whitely and Jamine Hindon adding to Prinzi’s five for Spitfires.

Another to score five times was Damini Bhagat, who was unstoppable in Oxford City Under 13s’ 11-1 victory at Wantage.

City scored six times in the first half, and kept going after the break, with Molly Jones (2), Jessica Styles (2), Hensly-Ann Clark and Stella Clarke adding to Bhagat’s tally.

Gabriella Rhodes grabbed a late consolation for Wantage, Stonesfield Strikers overcame Launton 3-0 in a hard-fought encounter. Emma Saville (2) and Jess Jimms struck for Stonesfield.

Abingdon took full advantage of the windy conditions against Tower Hill, scoring nine times before the break. The second half was a lot closer, but Abingdon ran out 11-0 winners.

Jevon Brown (3), Shannon Saidler (3), Farah Khan (2), Sadie Timbs (2) and Fedora Djakov hit Abingdon’s goals.

Tower Hill Under 12s coped better with the conditions – and took their chances – as they won 4-0 at Charlbury. Jasmin Illingworth bagged a brace, and Isabelle Riley and Grace Shayler were also on target.

It was an exciting match between Abingdon and Crowmarsh, both sides creating plenty of chances in a 1-1 draw.

High-flying Kidlington won 3-1 at Benson thanks to goals from Brooke Eagle, Jessica Soares and Holly Baker. Ava Vaccari replied for Benson.
