DIDCOT Town joint boss Ian Concannon is dreaming of Emirates FA Cup progress ahead of his side’s third qualifying round tie at home to Eastbourne Town.

The Railwaymen have already produced victories over Wantage Town, VCD Athletic and Northwood, and Concannon is backing his side to go further.

“We don’t have any particular goal in mind, but we’re very capable of a cup run,” he said.

“We’re only a couple of games away from the first round, so why not dare to dream?”

Tomorrow’s visitors ply their trade one level below Didcot in the Southern Combination Premier Division, but Concannon warned his charges against complacency.

He added: “We know Eastbourne are a very good side.

“They’ve already beaten Whytleafe and Chatham, so we know they’re going to be tough and they’ll think they can win it.

“We know they can score goals and we won’t take them lightly.”

Marvin Martin and Josh Dutton-Black are both unavailable, while Lance Williams (groin) and Jimmy Deabill (ankle) miss out due to injury.

However, Graham Edney returns to the squad and Jack Self could also be available after recovering from a knee injury.
