Callum O’Dowda is in line to make his fourth appearance for Republic of Ireland Under 21s when they face Andorra this afternoon.

The Oxford United winger made his international debut in the home game against Andorra in March, which opened their Euro 2017 qualifying campaign with a 1-0 win.

O’Dowda played 45 minutes in the 4-1 victory against Qatar Under 23s at Gigg Lane on Friday and looks set to stay in Noel King’s side for the game at the Estadi Comunal, Andorra la Vella.

U’s goalkeeper Max Crocombe is also away on international duty, but was an unused substitute as New Zealand drew 1-1 in a friendly against Myanmar in Yangon.

l OXFORD United will be backed by a sold-out away end at Sixfields this weekend.

All 944 tickets for Saturday’s visit to Northampton Town were snapped up, 24 hours before they were due to go on general sale.

It will be the biggest travelling contingent of United’s Sky Bet League Two campaign so far, beaten only by the 1,301 who watched Michael Appleton’s men win 4-0 at Brentford in the Capital One Cup last month.
