Chippy Trixters came ninth in Switzerland
CHIPPY Trixsters’ Peewee team impressed on their European debut in Delémont, Switzerland, for the IISHF European Championships.
Following their British National Championships win, Trixsters faced champions from nine other nations.
Trixsters held Israeli side Zoran Falcons to a 2-2 draw before narrow defeats to SHC Givisiez, Crefelder SC and Odense Ishockey.
They then beat Austrian side IHC Wolfurt Walker 4-2 on penalties to end ninth, the highest finish in the competition for a British Peewee side.
