OXFORD United Women welcome back several key players as they return to action in FA Women's Super League 2 at Millwall Lionesses tomorrow.

The U's were without Kayleigh Hines, Katie Stanley, Chloe Bruce, Laura Nichol and Lindsay Pinker for last weekend's Continental Tyres Cup match against Aston Villa, while captain Sahara Osborne-Ricketts was also withdrawn at short notice after falling ill during the warm-up.

But after making a recovery this week, the United skipper is looking forward to making her return.

“We're excited to get back to action in the league and give that our full focus now,” she said.

“It's the first time we've been close to full strength in a while, so we're all looking forward to getting back out there together.

“We've had a bit of a bug going round, but we're over that now and there should be plenty of competition for places.”

Full-back Rebecca Dandridge is the only definite absentee for Oxford's trip to the Den after sustaining a concussion last weekend.

United finish their league campaign with four successive away games and Osborne-Ricketts is hopeful they can start their difficult run-in positively.

She said: “We're definitely targeting this one as a match we can win.

"We were really disappointed to only get a 2-2 draw when we played them earlier in the season, so we definitely have a point to prove.

“We've got three really tough away games coming up after this, so three points this weekend will give us a great confidence boost to take into them.”
