VINNY Mukendi hit an 11-minute hat-trick as Oxford City smashed six past Truro City.

Omari Sterling-James, Bradley Bubb and Luke Coulson also netted to send City fourth in Vanarama National League South.

With just six minutes gone the visitors got themselves in front with a fluid move.

Reece Fleet put SterlingJames away down the right and he finished with a fierce strike from 20 yards.

In the 19th minute it was 2-0, when Fleet put Bubb through to shoot past the goalkeeper.

The striker was immediately forced off with a leg injury, replaced by Mukendi.

Little was seen of Truro’s attack, although the visitors’ goalkeeper Laurie Walker smartly saved from Craig Duff.

Within seven minutes of the restart City were awarded a penalty, when Fleet was brought down by Rob Farkins, who was sent off.

Mukendi sent the goalkeeper the wrong way and within three minutes he made it 4-0 from another Fleet pass with an excellent strike from 18 yards.

Just after the hour the striker completed his rapid hattrick, glancing a header home from David King’s cross.

The scoring was completed in stoppage time, when the Cornish hosts gave away another penalty.

Shane Krac was the guilty party this time, bringing down Coulson, who took the spot kick himself to net City’s sixth goal.
