MARK Trafford starred as Oxford A lifted the Johnsons Buildbase Oxford and District Supplementary Shield with a 5-0 win over Eynsham, writes PETE EWINS.
In the first leg at Kennington, Trafford ran out the table with 20,390.
Steven Sheard (18,420), Kevin Godfrey (14,050), Stuart Florey (7,100) and Alan Oliver (9,820) were also victorious.
Oxford were crowned winners after Eynsham conceded the second leg.
In Group A of the Summer League, Allan Lacey was in top form (10,340 and 7,490) as leaders Vikings Club stormed to a 5-1 victory at West Oxford Democrats Club.
Group B table toppers Kennington Club also drew 3-3 at Gladiators Club.
Sid Ponting (10,450 and 6,260) and Adam Ingram won Kennington’s points.
Dave Jarman triumphed in both games for Gladiators.
Martyn Wood (6,430), Mick Murphy (4,310) and Simon Hammond were victorious as Masons shared the spoils 3-3 at home to Bletchingdon.
