TOM Lydford-Brace starred with bat and ball as Cumnor clinched the Under 13 League trophy with a 31-run victory over Abingdon Vale in the finals at Bicester & North Oxford CC.

In the semi-finals, Cumnor beat Westbury by 50 runs after an unbeaten 30 from Dan Blakey set them on their way to 119-6.

The total proved too much for Westbury, who were all out for 69.

Luke Maslen took three wickets and hit an unbeaten 30 as Vale secured a nine-wicket win over MP Sports Academy in the other tie.

In the final, Cumnor started well with Samuel Down scoring 26.

But their innings stalled until Lydford-Brace carried his bat on 30, as they finished on 115.
