EDDIE Pepperell produced a superb display to finish tied fourth at the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open at Gullane GC.
The Frilford Heath member shot a one-under-par 69 in the final round to end the event on ten under and pick up almost £140,000.
His fine finish was set up by a storming round on Saturday, which saw him five under par after seven holes on his way to a 65.
It sets Pepperell up nicely for a first appearance in this week’s Open.
American Rickie Fowler won the event on 12 under par, with Matt Kuchar and Raphael Jacquelin tied second on -11.
Pepperell was next best, along with Scotland’s Marc Warren and Dutchman Joost Luiten.
