Jamie Hoddle, son of the former England football manager Glenn, helped end Shipton-under-Wychwood’s unbeaten start in Division 2.
Hoddle claimed four wickets as hosts Gerrards Cross secured a four-wicket win.
The seamer struck as Shipton, who had been asked to bat first, made a disastrous start.
They crashed to 42-6, with Hoddle claiming four wickets.
Shipton were in dire straights before George Seacole, who had survived the mayhem, found a reliable partner in Anupam Sanklecha.
Together they put on 75 for the seventh wicket before Sanklecha was dismissed for 26.
Seacole went on to score a valuable 58 from 86 balls with one six and eight fours before being eighth out at 141.
Shipton were dismissed for 144, Hoddle returning 4-21 from his ten overs.
Gerrards Cross also struggled, slipping to 57-5, with all-rounder Sanklecha taking a superb 4-21 in his ten overs.
But the support bowling lacked a threat, and from 95-6, Sam Bracey, with 48 not out, guided the hosts to victory in the 43rd over to end Shipton’s 100 per cent record.
