Arthur Tilly bagged a fivetimer as Grove Challengers finished their Oxford Mail Youth League Under 14 B League campaign in style, writes PAUL LYON.

Scott Ballard, Will Hartley and Howard Woodbridge also scored in their 8-1 home victory over Summertown Stars. Caio Goodwinn scored the visitors’ consolation.

Harwell & Hendred also hit form, winning 5-1 at home to Garsington Youth in the Under 15 A League. Chris Gould led the way with a double, along with efforts from Tom Gould, Joe Lilley and Aaron Layne.

Joe Loveridge replied. Patrick Katly’s brace gave St Edmunds a 2-1 success at Summertown Spartans, which lifted them to third in the C League. Spartans’ goal came from David Bons scored for Spartans.

Florence Park Under 13s kept up their title charge in the C League with a 3-1 win over visitors Milton United. Luke Bennett (2) and Elijah Moses did the damage for the home side, with Declan Hargreaves on target for Milton.

Summertown Cobras came from behind to win 5-1 at Cumnor Minors in the A League. Alex Jacobs put the home side ahead, but Jibril Mad’Mahad levelled.

Cobras went on to win comfortably, thanks to efforts from Matthew Maudsley, George Gompertz, Felix Burton and Ally Mitchell.

Doubles from Jack Liu and Jon Weeks-Pearson helped Summertown Tigers overcome East Oxford Utd 5-3 at home in the D League.

Dylan Haynes completed the scoring for the hosts, as Mohammad Saalah (2) and Raiham Islam’s strikes were in vain.

Thame Colts claimed their second win of the Spring League campaign as visitors Crowmarsh Youth Revolution went down 3-1.

Curtis Beckford-Cartwright, Joe Turner and Tommy Hunt all found the net, with Jack Heriot scoring for Revolution. Ryan Barker scored the only goal of the game as Summertown Stars Red Under 12s edged past hosts Botley Boys in the C League.

There was also a 1-0 away win for Rotherfield United in their A League game at Abingdon Youth Greens, Joe MacDonald’s strike the difference.

Cian Griffin and Max Russell-Sharpe hit two goals apiece as Horspath Youth won 6-0 at Berinsfield. Jamie Hicks and Jephetson Odju were also on target in the E League.

Ebo Aneju’s hat-trick helped Kennington Athletic grabbed the runners-up spot in the Under 11 A League with a 4-1 victory at Ardley United. Josh Young also netted, while Connor Duggan scored for Ardley.

Wantage Town Juniors Under 9s got their hands on some silverware with a 2-0 win over Florence Park in the Division E Trophy final.
