AFC Jericho were crowned Critchleys Upper Thames Valley League Premier League champions without kicking a ball after closest rivals Barton United lost 8-5 at Blackbird Rovers.

Marlon James bagged a four-timer for the home side, with Yasine Lamzini scoring a hat-trick and Tristan Lawrence completing their tally.

Ben Green (3), Wayne Stevens and keeper Harry Jenkins scored for Barton, who were the only team that could catch Jericho.

Woodstock Wanderers closed the gap on Division 1 leaders Railway Wheatley with a 5-0 win over The Village Inn.

Charles Rose scored a treble, with Simon Simmons netting a brace as Woodstock cut the gap at the top to three points.

Division 2 champions Kennington were made to sweat by Standlake Garage before triumphing 2-1.

Standlake took the lead before half-time when Tim Senior rifled a goal into the top corner, but Kennington won it through Josh Nichols and Jay Morris.

Sutton Wanderers crushed already-relegated Watlington Town 6-1, with goals from Arran Colley (3), Chris Stringer (2) and Matt Hammond.
