WANTAGE Town had to come from behind to beat Launton 3-1 in the Oxford Mail Girls League Under 13 League, after falling a goal down to an early strike from Petra Vass.

The home side made four changes at the break and soon hit back, equalising after eight minutes through Daisey Grover.

Ella Badger put Wantage in front and another Grover effort made the points safe.

Oxford City won 3-1 at home to title rivals Crowmarsh to leapfrog their guests at the top of the table.

Goals from Amanda Osarabo and Emily Green put City 2-0 up.

Although the visitors pulled one back after the break, Osarabo sealed the win with her second goal of the game.

Mia Thompson hit a hattrick as Kidlington Hawks won 6-0 at Tower Hill Vixens.

Georgia Johnson (2) and Lily Tyrell also scored for the visitors.

Jazz Lawton scored twice as Didcot Casuals won 3-1 at Highworth Town in the Under 16 League.

Lawton put the visitors 2-0 up, only for Highworth to respond through Chloe Scanlon.

But Casuals made the game safe thanks to Allie Lynn.

Benson’s Under 15 League Cup run came to an end with a 5-0 home defeat to Kidlington.

Lucy Durham struck twice for the visitors and there were also goals for Amberley Vircavs, Abi Haynes and Milly Simmonds.

Under 12 Blue League leaders Carterton Town continued their perfect record with a 7-1 win at Launton.

The visitors trailed 1-0 at half-time, but hit back after the break with three goals for Ruby Colleton, two for Ellie Walecki and further strikes from Lauren Warnes and Sophie Masters.

Grace Richards and Lilly Harries scored doubles as Oxford City won 5-0 at Kidlington in the Under 11 League.

Leanne Elias also netted for the visitors.

Rose Kent scored twice to give Wantage Town a 2-0 home victory over Charlbury.
