Coneygree, the Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup winner, is to parade at the Betfair Lambourn Open Day tomorrow.
Trained by Mark Bradstock at Letcombe Bassett, near Wantage, the eight-year-old will also make a special appearance before racing at 11.30am at the Cazenove Capital Point-to-Point meeting at nearby Lockinge on Easter Bank Holiday Monday.
More than 30 trainers – including Sparsholt handler Harry Whittington – will open their yards to the public from 8.30am-1pm as part of the Lambourn Open Day.
Many stables have special exhibits and some demonstrations including horses using hydrotherapy pools.
The entertainment switches to the massive events field in the afternoon when the action will include top jockeys schooling over fences, camel racing and puissance showjumping.
Organisers are hoping to attract more than 10,000 visitors.
