GLASGOW City FC are on the fundraising trail as they look to take their place alongside the best sides in Europe in the 2009/10 Uefa Women's Champions League.
The amateur outfit won the Premier League, Premier League Cup and Unite Scottish Cup treble last season and will face the champions of Lithuania and Georgia as well as German giants Bayern Munich in the first round of the competition on July 28 - but only if they can raise the £12,000 needed to make the trip to Lithuania.
European teams receive large amounts of funding from their national associations. City have received £3,000 from the SFA, leaving the girls facing the prospect of forfeiting their place.
The team have launched a "Snow Fun" campaign in a bid to raise money. More details on 07711 089808.
