DAISEY Grover hit five goals as Wantage Town Under 13s beat Harwell & Hendred 6-0 in the Oxford Mail Girls League.

Wantage began the game brightly and spent the majority of the first quarter of an hour in the Harwell half, but they were unable to capitalise.

The deadlock was broken on 19 minutes when Grover pounced on a defensive error to tap home.

Two minutes later, Grover had her second after a speculative lob into the Harwell box floated into the net.

And she completed an eightminute hat-trick when she fired home after Izzy Ottley’s corner had only been half cleared.

In the second half, Grover poked home her fourth, before Ellie Mitchell scored an impressive solo goal to make it 5-0.

With ten minutes remaining, Grover picked her spot and slotted home her fifth of the match.

Aimee Prinzi and Chloe Neate both scored braces as Swindon Spitfires beat Kidlington Hawks 6-0.

Morgan Ly Culley and Emily Purvis also found the back of the net to secure victory.

In the Under 15 League Cup, Amy Loveridge (2) and Phoebe Parsons fired Benson United to a convincing 3-0 win over Tower Hill.

Benson spent the majority of the first period in the Tower Hill half.

However, they had to wait until after the break to open the scoring.

Loveridge fired home on the rebound and got her second shortly later, after Parsons had made it 2-0.

Tower Hill Vixens beat Northampton 2-0 in Division 1 of the Under 14 League.

Annie Dennis broke the deadlock in the second half, before Isabelle Henthorn wrapped up the win.

In Division 2, Holly Martin and Emily Barber helped Kidlington secure a 2-0 victory over Risborough Rangers.

Kidlington had the upper hand early on, but home keeper Nicole Nielson-Pike was forced into a great save to keep Risborough at bay.

Martin gave the home side the lead just before half-time and Barber scored the winner after the break.
