Kevin Pietersen could play against Oxford MCCU in The Parks next month after signing for Surrey.
The record-breaking batsman has returned to The Oval in a bid to press for an England recall, after being sacked in February 2014 following the Ashes whitewash defeat in Australia.
Pietersen has joined Surrey after agreeing a release from the majority of his Indian Premier League contract with Sunrisers Hyderabad, which clashed with the start of the English domestic season.
He will be available for their first County Championship match against Glamorgan in Cardiff on April 19.
But before that, Surrey’s final warm-up game is a non first-class fixture in The Parks from April 12-14.
