Limato , Wantage trainer Henry Candy’s unbeaten gelding, is set to make his eagerly-anticipated return at Ascot on Wednesday, April 29.
The three-year-old, who capped four juvenile wins with an impressive display in the Two-Year-Old Trophy at Redcar, is due to reappear in the Group 3 Pavilion Stakes.
Candy said: “He’s ticking along nicely and has done well.
“It would be nice to think he could go to the Royal meeting if he’s progressed enough.”
Stablemate Cape Peron, who missed last season due to a setback, is in line to make his comeback in the Listed Paradise Stakes on the same card.
And Candy’s smart sprinter, Music Master, could start off in the Group 3 Abernant Stakes at Newmarket on April 16.
