OXFORD City’s budding athletes got a surprise at their annual awards night on Friday when Olympian Hannah England turned up to present the trophies.
England, an Oxford City athlete, was also on hand to take part in a question and answer session.
More than 50 awards were presented on the night.
They were handed out to the club’s best track, field, cross, club and overall athletes from the under 9, 11, 13 and 17 age groups.
Callum Bampton and Tim Stephens scooped the under 17 boys overall athlete awards, while the girls trophies went to Megan Humphreys and Simi Fajemisin.
Bampton and Humphreys also won the cross country awards, with Fajemisin named best field athlete.

In the under 15’s, Max Shakespeare and Jade O’Dowda were named overall athlete.
O’Dowda also won the field athlete award.
