Holton A look to have taken a decisive step towards retaining their Division 1 title, after beating league leaders Forum A 7-3.
Neil Cartwright and Elson Costa were on form for Holton as they both recorded maximums.
Forum secured the consolation point, as Karl Bushell and Greg Boone beat Andy Misseldine, and then paired up to win the doubles.
However, Holton now have the edge in the title race and only trail Forum by three points with a game in hand.

In Division 2, Vikings B extended their lead at the top with a 9-1 victory over Gladiators A.
Vikings C had a good week with victories over Vikings A and Forum D.
Bicester C eased past Holton B, winning 6-4, to maintain their healthy lead at the top of Division 3.
Toby Wong was the star performer for Bicester, with a maximum.
In Division 4, Begbroke B managed a 6-4 victory over Forum J despite a clean sweep for Stuart Aston.
