Jon Gardner grabbed a stoppage-time winner as Ardley United beat North Leigh United 1-0 in the Uhlsport Hellenic League's Bluefin Sports Challenge Cup quarter-final at Eynsham Park.

Gardner lashed home a shot through a crowded penalty area.

Abingdon United remain deep in relegation trouble in the Premier Division after letting slip a two-goal lead in a 2-2 draw at FA Vase semi-finalists Highworth Town.

Highworth’s Kev Tate lobbed his keeper, Garry Eggleton, for an own goal to gift Abingdon a 20th-minute lead.

The visitors went further ahead in the 35th minute with Sam Collier smashing home a penalty after Anaclet Odhiambo was brought down by Eggleton.

However, Highworth were level a minute into the second half when Tom Price beat debutant keeper Lewis Noice, and Dan Drewett’s shot went in with the help of a wicked deflection for the equaliser five minutes from time.

Kidlington drew 1-1 at Wootton Bassett Town.

Tommy Castle opened the scoring for Kidlington in the 58th minute, but Callum Wright levelled ten minutes from time.
