Kidlington Old Boys are through to the Oxfordshire Senior League’s Ben Turner Cup final following a 2-1 win at Yarnton.

Yarnton’s Andrew White cancelled out Jonny Richards’ early opener for the visitors, but Old Boys wouldn’t be denied and a Danny Burrows corner found its way into the back of the net via a Yarnton defender.

Oxford University Press’s Matthew Spooner scored a last-minute penalty to end Premier Division leaders Mansfield Road’s nine-match winning streak with a 3-2 home victory.

Neil Lockhart and Craig Wharton also netted for Press, with Luis McGillycuddy and Danny Trinder replying.

Oakley United reduced the gap at the top to three points by thrashing Marston Saints 5-0.
