Resilient Berinsfield held their nerve to record a tense 5-3 victory after extra time at Oxford University Press Res in the Oxfordshire Intermediate Cup semi-finals.
Ellis Bicknell scored twice and James Humm was also among the goals as Press fought back three times to cancel out Mark Ingram’s brace and another goal from Max Palmer in normal time.
But Berinsfield finally edged themselves in front with two unanswered goals from Luke Saunders and David Murphy to book their place in the final on April 23 at a venue to be arranged.
They will face Oxford City Nomads Development, who reached the final for the first time with a 2-1 home victory over Kidlington Old Boys.
