Makeshift striker Andy Caton scored twice as North Leigh cruised to a 2-0 win at Swindon Supermarine in the Evo-Stik Southern League’s Red Insure Cup quarter-final.
Caton, who normally plays centre half, opened the scoring after 25 minutes when he tapped home Conor Ingram’s cross past ex-North Leigh keeper Sam Warrell.
And he struck again two minutes before half-time when Warrell got a hand to his shot from eight yards, but was unable to prevent it from going in.
North Leigh will now face either Poole Town, Corby Town or Egham Town in the semi-finals.
