FREDDIE Kennedy produced an outstanding first-half display as Harwell & Hendred lifted the Oxford Mail Youth League Under 11 Knockout Cup with a 4-1 victory at Ardley United, writes PAUL LYON.
Kennedy hit a first-half hat-trick to put the visitors in a strong position and Finlay Hubert got a fourth goal, before Connor Duggan grabbed a consolation.
A Harry Phillips treble helped Summertown Wanderers to a 6-0 victory over Marston Saints in the Spring A League.
Will Laird also grabbed a brace with Finn O’Reilly completing the scoring.
Botley Boys beat local rivals Cumnor Minors 2-0 at home in the Spring B League thanks to goals from Albie Gullis and George Corti.
Oxford City Nomads won 4-1 at Chalgrove Cavaliers, with Sam Stowell hitting a hat-trick and Joshua Thacker completing the scoring.
Finlay Wotherspoon replied for Cavaliers.
Bradley Ward scored the only goal of the game as Didcot Town White won 1-0 at Goring Robins in the Spring C League.
A hat-trick from Aaron Hares gave Faringdon Town a 3-1 victory at Kidlington Youth in the Spring D League, with Jack Foord scoring for the home side.
Kennington Athletic Green progressed to the Under 12 Knockout Cup final with a 2-0 victory at Summertown Stars White.
Tyler Webb and Kirk Fasanmode scored the goals to set up a showdown against Florence Park Blue.
Callum Crook fired in a hat-trick for Florence Park in their 5-0 Spring A League victory at home to Abingdon Youth Green.
Gavin Dykes completed the scoring with two goals.
Didcot Casuals Yellow were 4-2 winners at Garden City in the Spring D League.
Alexander Preston netted twice for the home side, but a double from Alfie Cummins and goals from Jamie Young and Ollie Beith won it for the visitors.
Max Blansjaar and Archie Coupar both hit hat-tricks as Crowmarsh Youth Ravens won 8-0 at home to Summertown Stripes in the Spring E League.
Sam Irwin and Kelan Morris also netted for the home side.
Kyran Lofthouse’s superb four-timer helped Horspath Youth to a comprehensive 8-1 home victory over Thatcham Tornadoes in the Under 14 A League.
Michael Durojaiye scored twice and Will Jeffrey and Sol Boyd were also on target, with Guy Davis netting Thatcham’s consolation.
Meanwhile, Grove Challengers sprang a surprise in the Under 13 Knockout Cup quarter-finals as they beat A League side Didcot Town Red 3-0.
Goals from Jonathan Varley, Matthew Giles and Ben Hartle sent Grove into the semi-final at the expense of their higher-league hosts.
Summertown Cobras also secured a semi-final berth with a 3-1 home win over Quarry Rovers TNT.
Hamish Harrison Cushing, Matthew Maudsley and George Gomperz scored for Cobras, with Jake Carter hitting Quarry’s consolation.
Jago Edwards hit a hat-trick as Kidlington Youth Colts won 5-0 at Wantage Town in the Spring D League, with Charlie Bates and Owen Fellows also netting.
North Leigh’s seven-match winning streak was brought to an end as they were beaten 2-1 at home to Harwell & Hendred in the Under 15 A League.
Goals from Charlie Evans and Joe Lilley did the damage and although North Leigh pulled one back through Robbie Cockroft they couldn’t find an equaliser.
B League leaders Marston Saints won 7-0 at home to Milton United. Arthur Galley (2), Lennie Lewis (2), Rowan Allison-Drake, Ryan Hicks and George Hext netted.
Benedict Diment scored both goals as Chalgrove Cavaliers won 2-1 at Blewbury Buccaneers in the C League.
