Shaun Thorp scored the winner for the visitors after Charlie Allsop’s double had been matched by goals from Ryan Seamark and Rob Lightfoot for Abingdon.

Wallingford Town got back to winning ways with a 3-2 home success over Dorchester.

Elliott Westwood struck twice alongside a Connor Mattimore effort, with Josh Nicholls and Charlie Lee replying for the visitors.

Tom Rowe bagged a brace to help Ardington & Lockinge to a comfortable 5-1 home triumph over bottom side Watlington Town.

Chris Hogan, Chris Whitworth and Tobias Daley all also scored in the win, with James Roberts hitting the consolation for Watlington.

Stanford in the Vale sit 11 points clear at the top of Division 2 following their 3-1 win at home to Steventon.

Westminster leapfrogged visitors Burghclere into fourth place with a 6-1 home win.

Rob O’Hagan scored the away side’s goal, but doubles for Josh Bourton and Dan Hill and efforts from Jack Hillis and Luke Lewis-Rippington gave Westminster a convincing victory.

Marcham edged a nine-goal thriller 5-4 at Sutton Courtenay, despite having only scored eight times in their previous 11 league matches.

Sam McKenna netted twice for the hosts alongside goals from Mike Hooton and Rhys Griffiths, but a Mark Uttley brace and goals from Rob Fathers, Tom Larman and Stuart Armstrong won the match for Marcham.

Hanney United moved up to second spot in Division 3 after a 3-1 home win over Benson Lions.

Union Street were beaten 2-0 at league leaders Turnpike Sports thanks to goals from Richard Meikle and Kyle Sargeant.

A Danny Brind double and a Matt Gilbert strike helped end Dorchester Res’ eight-match losing streak ended as they drew 3-3 at home to Grove Rangers.

Marc Reid, Joe Courtney and Matt Cramp all scored for the visitors.

Berinsfield Res won 9-3 at home to Long Wittenham United in Division 4, with Dave Murphy and Jon Welch hitting hat-tricks.

Dan Kingsley scored the only goal as Coleshill United overcame Hungerford Town Swifts 1-0 in the second round of the War Memorial Cup.

Gareth Fenton struck twice for Harwell Village as they took Newbury Res to extra-time, but the Division 3 visitors won the tie 4-2.

Goals from Andy Bulloch, Rhys Thomas, Darren Gibbons and an own goal secured Newbury’s passage to the quarter-finals.

FARINGDON Town Res were denied a place in the quarter-finals of the Berks & Bucks FA Junior Cup after their 2-1 defeat at fellow North Berks League Division 2 side Kintbury Rangers Res.

Richard Evans scored for Town, but goals from Luke Connor and Alastair Shambrook won the tie for the visitors.

East Hendred also missed out after they were cruelly beaten 4-3 on penalties following a dramatic 4-4 draw with Thames Valley Premier League side Eldon Celtic.

Hendred's goals came from Ben Sutton, Sam Belcher, Liam McCullough and Jason McDowell.
