Johnny Mullins says Oxford United will relish the chance to out-pass Bury at the Kassam Stadium tomorrow.

The two teams have a reputation for seeking to play attractive football, which can be at odds to the fast and furious games in Sky Bet League Two.

Bury go into the game ten places above the U’s in the table, but on their worst run of the season after going five games without a win.

Mullins senses an opportunity for United to come out on top in what should be an entertaining game.

Latest United news:

He said: “They’re a good side and are slightly off the boil at the minute, but they will be looking to come to our place with a nice, big pitch and show their passing game.

“Hopefully we are going to out-pass them and beat them.

“I think it’s set up for a good game and we’ll back ourselves against anyone in that format, so hopefully we can beat them.”

Mullins scored the winner in the fixture last season, but has not netted since January.

The centre back admits he is duea a goal: “I am, massively.

“I seem to be running in completely the wrong places at the minute, so I’ll keep going and one will drop sooner or later.”
