City of Oxford’s Freddie Cooke and Chiara De Vita stole the show at the Oxford Level 3 gala at Temple Cowley.

Cooke won 14 gold medals in the boys’ ten-year-old age category, while De Vita, 13, scooped 11 golds and a bronze in the girls’ 13/14 year age group.

Megan Smit, ten, won ten events, with nine-year-old Oliver Conway (nine-years-old) nine, with while 15-year-olds Connor Bryan and Lewis Pearce collected six and James Oliver five.

Theo Cooke, Selina Treuherz, Delphine Little and Zac Bischoff recorded four victories apiece.

Daniel Jenkins, and Jessica Saunders, bagged a hat-trick of golds, There were double wins for Evie Mclean, George Rudd, Ayanna Fulga, Lara Mills, Erin Gilchrist, Dotty Goodgame, Jemima Gibbs , Elise Lawrence, Lewis Gilchrist and Bailey Jeremy.

The gold medal rush was completed by Ellen Bagley, Ellen Tranter, Gretal Goodgame, Safiya Sillah Zoe Coombs, Jennifer Burrell, Emilia Chen, Louise Jenkins, Gabriel Agostini, James Austen and Thomas Holliday.

Before the meeting, membership secretary, Leila Lawrence, was awarded her ASA Club Volunteer of the Year award by south east region president, Roger Pryor.
