Barton United beat Kidlington 5-0 in the Oxford Mail Girls Under 12 Blue League, despite being short by two players.

Although the away side could only name seven players, it didn’t stop them winning, thanks to a Letisha Kabwebwe hat-trick and goals from Aimee Gomersall and Kia Curry.

Pippa Patterson’s late strike gave Stonesfield Strikers a narrow 1-0 home victory over Launton.

The away side appeared to have earned a point, but were undone two minutes from time when Patterson found the bottom corner.

Olivia Thacker netted twice and Millie Collier also scored for City, with Sadie Timbs and Jevon Brown replying for the visitors.

Emma Parker twice cancelled out strikes from Egheose Ojeikere to earn Oxford City a 2-2 draw at home to MK City Opals in the OMGFL/BGFL Under 14 League Division 1.

Ojeikere gave Opals an early lead, only to be pegged back by a magnificent strike from Parker.

Opals thought they had won it when Ojeikere again put them in front ten minutes from time, but Parker had other ideas, levelling once more in the final minute to give City a share of the spoils.

Tower Hill Vixens were less pleased with a point as they were held to a 0-0 draw at home to Tattenhoe, having missed several chances to take the lead in the early stages.

In Division 2, Kidlington had to settle for a 1-1 draw at home to Chalfont Saints.

Molly Wiggins put the hosts in front, but the lead lasted just a few minutes as Emma McManee equalised for Saints.

Two goals from Jasmine Hughes and a third from Zeriah Sutton gave Barton United a 3-0 victory at home to Moretonville Juniors.

A dominant first-half display gave Oxford City a 3-0 win at Launton in the Under 13 League.

Georgia Moore, Maria Jennings and Tegan Partlett found the net before the break as City dominated, but Launton rallied and prevented further damage in the second half. Wantage Town moved up to second in the table with a 2-1 success at Kidlington.

An Ellie Mitchell double put the visitors two goals in front at half-time before Katy Appleton pulled one back for Kidlington.

In the Under 11 League, Summertown Stars White beat Wantage Town 4-1, taking the lead in the first minute through Charlotte Evans and rarely looking back.

Two goals from Leschea Guiste followed and Ava-Rose Mason also scored, before Gemma Williams’ late consolation for Wantage.

Summertown Stars Red hung on to claim a 3-2 home victory over Kidlington despite a late scare.

Lulu von Pander’s first-half hat-trick put the hosts firmly in charge.

However, two goals from Grace Barrett for Kidlington ensured an uncomfortable ending to the match.
