JANETTE Cardy and Dan Rivers show off their trophies after scooping the big prizes at this year’s Oxfordshire Sports Awards.
Cardy was chosen after battling back from a stroke to win gold at the aquathlon European Championships and silver in the World Championships.
Rivers picked up a gold and bronze medal for shooting in this year’s Commonwealth Games.
The duo collected their awards in a prestigious ceremony at Oxford’s Kassam Stadium, with a capacity crowd looking on.
Other winners included Oxford City Stars coach Darren Elliott and Henley Hawks women’s rugby team.
