Chippy Trixsters’ Peewee team won the BISHA National Championship with a 3-1 victory over Medway Assassins in the final at Lutterworth, Leicestershire.

The team of captain Devon Shadbolt, Brett Massey, Ellie Williams, Ellie Lewis, Brett Mathews, Reuben Beck, Leo Hughes, Annabel Skidmore, Christopher Riley and Ben O’Conner won all five of their round-robin games to make the final.

Trixters saw off Medway Assassins 2-0, London Knights 8-2, Eastbourne Edge 6-0, Oxford Storm 6-0 and Ash Rage 2-0.

They got off to a poor start in the final, with Medway going ahead after just two minutes.

However, a strike from Shadbolt brought them level with ten minutes to go.

And, with just over a minute left, Shadbolt put Trixsters ahead.

Leo Hughes then sealed victory for the Chipping Norton side.

Trixters will now go on to the European Championships next year.
