Berinsfield BC’s Harriet Healey recorded a unanimous points verdict over Bourne’s Amy Good at a show at Stamford, Lincolnshire.

With the girls standing toe-to-toe in the first round, Healey used her strength to gradually got the upper hand.

Good tried to take the initiative in round two, but the Berinsfield fighter wasn’t having any of it and crashed home a succession of right hands.

The bell came to the Lincolnshire girl’s rescue just as it looked as if the referee was about to step in and stop the contest.

Healey kept up the attack in round three, with her powerful punches leaving the game Good with a partially closed eye, to seal the verdict.

BERINSFIELD BC’s Jordan Blake was beaten on a split points decision by Reading’s Callum McDonald in a Home Counties junior novices under 60k contest at Reading.
