MATT Williams says Chinnor have had the defining moment of their season in National 2 South.

Director of rugby Williams, whose side visit Bishop’s Stortford tomorrow, believes holding out for a 30-26 victory over Taunton last week will prove crucial.

“People talk about defining moments in a season and the last three minutes against Taunton was ours,” he said.

“We didn’t play to the best of our ability, but for the first time this season we showed the heart, desire and courage to defend our line.

“That’s what’s been missing this year. In the last three minutes, we showed that, when our backs were against the ball.”

Jake Olley will make his Chinnor debut at full back, having signed from Northampton Saints academy last summer.

“He dislocated his shoulder in a pre-season match, but is fit again now,” said Williams.

Olley’s inclusion sees Jaryd Robinson move to the wing in place of George Blewitt.

Sam Angell comes in at centre for Junior Fatialofa, who faces a fitness test on his hamstring.

Chinnor have further injury doubts over lock Toby Salmon (neck), No 8 Alfie To’oala (concussion) and fly half Ed Keohane (ankle), but prop Simone Carloni is added to the squad following a back injury.

Leaders Henley Hawks have made a raft of changes for their trip to second-from-bottom Shelford.

Loosehead prop Tom West, locks Theo Vukasinovic and Oskar Hirskyj-Douglas, scrum half Tom Parker, left wing Lloyd Owen and centres George Eastwell and Simon Perry all come in.

Dave Manning moves to tighthead, Matt Payne shifts to blindside flanker, from where he will captain the side, while Tom Hall goes to the openside.

Hawks, who are five points clear of second-placed Dorking, are chasing their 13th straight victory.
