FREDDIE Kennedy’s four-timer fired Harwell & Hendred to the top of the Under 11 A League with a 7-2 victory over Horspath Youth Lions, writes PAUL LYON.

Latham Hawkins, Guy Woolley and Toby Pollard also hit the target for the hosts, with Luke Heritage and Daniel Chalmers scoring for Lions.

A hat-trick from Josh Hedges and a penalty from Oliver Wilkes gave Didcot Town Red a 4-3 victory at home to Ardley United.

Xavu Carrol, Dominic Hayes and Kristian Smith scored for Ardley, but Town were deserved winners.

Cholsey Bluebirds sealed the C League title with a 6-1 victory at Abingdon Youth White.

Yannick Grogan and Oskar Lambert netted a brace each alongside goals from Finbarr Sheedy and Toby Bucknall, with the home side’s lone reply coming from Baily Cunningham.

North Leigh won 2-1 at high-flying Harwell & Hendred in the Under 15 A League thanks to goals from Zak Farrow and Finley Hewlett.

Tyler Parson scored for the home team, but couldn’t prevent them going down to a first defeat in four games.

Unbeaten Oxford City were held to a 2-2 draw by Summertown Stars in the B League.

Kian Farrell and Luke Butterfield scored for City, but their quest for a fifth straight victory was foiled by Will Honour’s brace.

In the C League, Ciaran Northwood’s double helped Kidlington Youth Comets to a 3-2 home victory over Crowmarsh Youth Comets.

Harry Wynn also netted for Kidlington, with Josh Burtenshaw and Louis Harding replying.

Goals from Adam Megarty, Nathan Collins, Ben Cruttenden and Ollie Aldsworth gave Cumnor Minors a 4-0 victory at Harwell & Hendred in the Under 14 A League.

In the B League, Jamie Masters scored the only goal as Goring Robins edged a close encounter 1-0 at home to Greater Leys Youth.

Sam Lygo’s hat-trick wasn’t enough for Marston Saints as they were beaten 6-3 by a rampant Crowmarsh Youth in the C League.

Jamie McGlashen netted a treble of his own for the visitors, with Zac Jones (2) and Tom Legg completing their tally.

Kidlington Youth White progressed to the second round of the Under 12 Knockout Cup with a shock 4-0 victory over B League side Tower Hill.

The C League team’s goals came from Alex Keighery (2), Jack Barron and Chris Willis.

Crowmarsh Youth Rooks were also triumphant in the first round, though they needed penalties to overcome Rotherfield United following a 2-2 draw after extra-time.

The sides were all-square after goals from Alfie Briggs and Marchin Skwarek for Rooks were cancelled out by Charlie Wagstaff and Ned Hien efforts.

But the home side held their nerve to edge a tense penalty shoot-out 3-2.
