Michael Truby struck with just seconds remaining to send Bletchingdon through to the second round of the Oxfordshire Senior League's President’s Cup with a 1-0 victory at Northway.

The home side dominated the contest, but were unable to convert any of their numerous chances.

And they were made to pay when Truby scored the winner two minutes into injury-time.

Rich Edmondson performed similar heroics for Mansfield Road Res in the first round of the Clarendon Cup, as they won 1-0 at home to Horspath Res.

Goals from Ben Halsey, Dan Aldworth, Tom Hall and Steve Carvey fired Freeland through, with James Bruce and John Bachelor on the mark for the home side.

Garsington Res lost 5-3 at home to Yarnton Res, despite taking an early 2-0 lead through Will Horton and Josh Cook.

Michael Trafford and Ben Coupland brought the visitors level.

Trafford netted a second after the break, with Ben Fouracre making it 4-2.

Horton pulled one back for the hosts from the penalty spot late on before Coupland added his second to complete the scoring.

Eynsham moved up to third in the Premier Division with a 3-2 home win over Chalgrove.

They took the lead when the Chalgrove keeper dropped a corner into his own net.

Tom McCudden and Rory Thomson made it 3-0, before Tom Cox and James Quainton hit back for the visitors.

Division 1 leaders Garsington continued their march with a 5-1 hammering of Easington Sports Res.

A Jamie DeBanks penalty put the away side in front, with Jelroy Constant, Chris Peck, Ben Curtis and Ty Brackett also scoring, before Alex Hammer notched a late consolation for the hosts.

In Division 2, Charlton Res’ search for their first victory continues as they were beaten 3-0 at Adderbury Park Res.

Lee Timms put the home side in front after ten minutes, with Chris Clark then doubling the lead and Lee Watts making it safe shortly before full-time.
