Harry Ackland hit a hat-trick for Division 2 Westminster as they won 4-1 at Drayton, who play a division higher, in the North Berks League Cup second round.

Sam Dallimore scored their fourth, with Rob Hamling netting for Drayton.

Division 3 side Hanney United took Saxton Rovers, from Division 1, right to the wire before going down 2-1 deep in extra time.

James Bishop scored for visitors Hanney and Gary Belcher for Saxton in normal time.

But Benny Sutton settled it for Saxton late into extra time.

Andy Allum claimed a three-timer for Division 1 Wallingford Town in their 5-0 home success against Coleshill United from Division 2.

Connor Mattimore and Ashley Searle also scored in the victory.

Another hat-trick hero was Jamie Gregory as Stanford in the Vale overcame fellow Division 2 opponents Steventon 4-1, with Kieran McCarthy also scoring in the victory, with Adam Oram replying.

Division 1 side Faringdon Town thumped Division 3 outfit Union Street 5-0.

Robbie Harrington bagged a brace alongside goals from Rich Evans, Liam Humphries and Derren Harrington.

Ben Sutton and Gareth Cooper scored for Division 2 East Hendred in their 2-0 home win against Division 3 Grove Rangers.

Meanwhile, Marcham ran out comfortable 5-2 victors at Hagbourne United for whom Mason Churton and Grant Shears were on target.

Sutton Courtenay crashed out following a 3-0 defeat at Hungerford Swifts.

Marcham Res won 5-2 at Sutton Courtenay Res in the first round of the North Berks League Cup.

Gary Mitchell scored twice with Jamie Salter, Chris Shahab and Mike Bloomfield also netting.

Pawel Brodzinski and Will Wright hit back for Sutton.

In league action, Berinsfield and Ardington & Lockinge kept up the heat on Division 1 leaders Kintbury with wins.

Ben Eltham scored the only goal as Ardington & Lockinge climbed to third with a 1-0 home triumph over Long Wittenham Athletic. 

Berinsfield are second on goal difference after they ended Abingdon Town’s unbeaten league run 3-0, thanks to a Dave Murphy double and a Mike Hinkin strike.

Dorchester battled in vain in their clash against Kintbury, losing 3-0.
Faringdon Town Res were thumped 7-1 by Lambourn Sports, who are now in second place behind Burghclere in Division 2. 

Steve Rackham and Sam Conners both got  a hat-trick with Terry Wood also netting. Christian Wills replied.

In Division 3, bottom side Abingdon Town Res were thumped 7-0 by leaders Turnpike Sport.

Dorchester Res’s visit to Newbury Res ended in a 4-0 hiding.

Ardington & Lockinge Res moved to the top of Division 4 after Danny Weeks scored twice and Ollie Bailey netted in their 3-0 win at Faringdon Town A. 

Morning leaders Long Wittenham Athletic Res were held to a 3-3 draw at home by Drayton Res.

An Andy Taylor penalty, a Henry Surtell strike and an own goal completed the hosts’ tally.

Pat Woodley (2) and Ricky Fletcher were on target for the visitors. 
Berinsfield Res drew 3-3 at home to East Hendred Res. 

Jack Hastings (2) and Alex Kerry registered for Berinsfield, but Tom Geach, Danny Sayer and Aiden Necchi-Ghiri made it all-square. 

Uffington United maintained their perfect start with a 10-2 win at Burghclere Res, with Pete Byrne scoring a five-timer. 

Ben Cousins scored twice alongside efforts from Gareth Armishaw, Eddie Everett and Jamie Durup. Bobby Collard hit two for the hosts. 

Kennington Athletic won 4-2 at home to Stanford in the Vale Res with Jordan Trevelyan, Andy Dier, James Clarkson and Lewis Norwood  on the scoresheet. 

In Division 5, Hanney 66 Club  were hammered 10-0 by Lambourn Sports Res. 
Kieran Watson (4), Dan Glozier (2), Simon Crayton, Josh Giles, Nick Gordon, Dave Rouse did the damage.

Charlie Lee scored for Wallingford Town Res, but a Dan Read double meant Uffington United Res emerged 2-1 victors.

Grove Rangers Res leapfrogged Hagbourne United Res at the bottom, thanks to Anthony Merrett scoring the only goal in their 1-0 victory.
