Captain Sahara Osborne-Ricketts is looking to end their league season on a high as Oxford United host Aston Villa tomorrow (2pm) at Abingdon United’s Northcourt Road, writes Matthew Bruce.

United’s form has improved in the latter stages of the season and they have avoided finishing bottom of the table in their debut season, but Osborne-Ricketts wants to give U’s fans one final victory to cheer about.

“It’s a big game for us,” she said.

“We get a lot of support for our home games so hopefully that can get us through and we can pick up the points.

“Obviously there’s no relegation but we just want to finish as high up the table as we can.”
