Banbury United slipped to their second Evo-Stik Southern League Premier League defeat in a row following Saturday’s 3-0 drubbing at Chippenham Town.

The result saw the visitors slip to one place above bottom-placed Histon in the table.

Paul Davis’s side went behind after only four minutes when defender Tom Fishwick put through his own net after trying to clear a cross.

Banbury had the chance to level on 13 minutes, but David Lynn’s shot was well saved by Kent Kauppinen in the home goal.
