Oxon won on three of the six rinks, but were edged out with Sussex taking the points 16-6.

Jason King skipped Oxon’s highest-winning rink to a 31-12 victory.

OXFORDSHIRE won on five of the six rinks to beat City & County Bristol 147-80 in a friendly at Oxford City & County.

Paul Lopez (Oxford City and County) was awarded a six-game badge.

PHIL Gladden was not the first member of Adderbury BC to win Oxfordshire BA silverware, as reported in last week’s column.

This honour went to Richard Wise who won the same trophy as Gladden, the Allison Cup, in 2001.
