Cowley Internationals’ bowler Ayaz Khan nearly took all ten for a second time when he bagged a nine-wicket haul in their 65 win at Minster Lovell in OCA League Division 1.

In 2012, Ayez took 10-35 for Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts agai-nst Oxford Downs in Cherwell League.

On Saturday he finished with 9-42 as the hosts were all out for 147.

Earlier, Brian Barrett top-scored with 109 as the visitors posted 212-9 before Khan took over.

The hosts’ opener Rob Knight hit 114 as his side racked up 232-7.

The visitors were kept to 168-9.

A partnership from Andrew Crawford (87) and George Redknap (63no) steered the visitors in at 205-3 after they lost two early wickets.

Combe’s Julian Chaundy (3-42) and Ethan Chapman (3-50) had Clifton Hampden struggling to 157.

The Kings shone for Kidlington in a three-wicket win against Hailey.

Christopher (3-23) and Sean (3-67) restricted the hosts to 170-9.

Sean then stroked 51 as he lead his team to victory at 171-7.

An unbeaten 126 from Omer Tariq was in vain as West Witney lost by eight wickets against Kilkenny in Division 5.

Tariq helped them rack up 225-5.

However, but Duncan MacDonald (86no), Chris May (45) and Jason Penn (55) steered Kilkenny in at 226-2.

Three catches by Martin Kalyan and 4-24 from John Thompson saw Risinghurst dismiss Uffington for 101.

Earlier, the hosts reached 158.

Oliver Tice smashed a magnificent 148 when helping Westbury 2nd thrash Hanney by 283 runs in Division 6.

Tice’s ton, plus a fine 81 from George Markham and 56 from William Gurney saw the home side amass a formidable 359-6.

The visitors were then shot out for 76 in reply.

Bampton kept the pressure on Division 7 leaders Kidlington 2nd with a seven-wicket win away to Swinbrook 2nd.

Simon Launder’s 5-12 helped shoot out the latter for 77, before they passed the victory target in just 14 overs.

Cowley Internationals 2nd tasted defeat for the first time this season, away to Hanborough 2nd, in Division 8.

Idris Muhammed took 5-59, as Hanborough posted 199-9.

A shell-shocked Cowley were then dismisssed for 146, Adrian Buckingham taking 4-50.

Radley 2nd’s Richard Cook grabbed 7-20 as Witney Swifts were shot out for 78.

This after home side Radley had posted 131-8.
