Minster Lovell remain secondafter despatching Charlbury by 60 runs.

Despite 4-17 from Bimalka Liyanara-chichi, Minster managed to reach 144-9, Elliot Graham top-scoring with 40 not out.

Graham then completed a fine all-round display by taking 3-14, and with Jack Simpson (3-8), providing significant support, Charlbury were skittled for 84.

Stephen Hunt hit an unbeaten half-century as Chadlington defeated Oxenford by 49 runs.

Hunt was 52 not out as his side closed on 211-7, with Mu-hammed Abdullah Khan’s 56 proving in vain for the visitors, who were all out for 162.

Westbury opener Tom Gurney made 51 as his side set 181-9 after being put in by Great Horwood.

Graham Judd (4-5) and Richard Tredwell (3-11) then starred with the ball as Westbury dismissed the hosts for 89 to record a 92-run victory.

In Division 2, Radley extended their lead with a comprehensive 148-run success over Combe.

Shoaib Ahmed (79) and Manley Du Preez (59) laid the platform for Radley’s 214-6, before 5-31 from Ali Malik and 3-19 from Rustum Rabani bowled Combe out for 66.

Ben Tew blasted 113 as Chipping Norton eased to a 157-run triumph at Watlington.

Ably supported by James McGeown (82), the visitors set 233-5, which proved far too many as the hosts were bundled out for 76, Rhys Warner-Carter grabbing 4-17.

Invited to bat first, hosts Clifton Hampden posted a decent total of 166-7 against Tetsworth, with Alistar Slay unbeaten on 68.

Some powerful hitting from Khalil Shahmand (77no) kept the visitors in the game, but a deadly spell of 4-17 from Laurence Harvey saw Clifton Hampden to a 31-run success.

Jason Tilcock was another centurion, his 107 helping Broughton & North Newington post 215-4 at Faringdon.

The home side were then dismissed for 148, Neil Mepham doing the damage with 4-26.

Cairns Fudge maintained their bid for promotion in Division 3 with a four-wicket win at Eynsham.

Chetan Patel, James Clark and Martin Hanscombe took three wickets apiece to limit their opponents to 137.

With 41 not out from Andy Small, Fudge concluded a successful run chase in the 34th over.

In a thriller at Fringford, Wolvercote reached 157-9 thanks principally to Simon Burns’s unbeaten 44.

However, Jonny Reid’s 102 for the hosts proved the difference as his team scraped home by two wickets.

Carl Needham took 4-22 as Marsh Gibbon shot out Wantage for 82, before the hosts knocked off the required target for the loss of five wickets.

Chesterton prevailed by the same victory margin over hosts Westcott.

After dismissing their opponents for 92, with Lee Price (4-43) and Steve Lewis (3-25) doing the damage. Chesterton got home with no real worries.

Kidlington racked up the highest score of the day, amassing 320-3 in their 171-run victory over Charlbury 2nd in Division 4.

Andy Oliver smashed an impressive 141, Edd Wilmot hitting an unbeaten 57 and Jack Desmond contributing 45 as they set a huge total.

It was always going to be too much for the hosts, who were restricted to 149-6 in their 45 overs.

Wootton and Boars Hill stay top following a six-wicket win over Hailey.

Despite 45 from Sean King, visitors Hailey could only muster 101, Tom Crowe taking 5-10.

Skipper Damien Wiskin then fired 34 to steer his side to victory.

Richard Parker returned superb figures of 5-11 as Swinbrook proved too strong for Marcham.

Tim Martin’s 61 helped the visitors reach 148-9, before Parker took centrge stage as Marcham were shot out for 70, despite Tristan Barrett’s 44.

Oliver Pascoe had a good day for Division 5 outfit Stanton Harcourt.

First, he scored 38 of his team’s impressive 282-7, at home to Dorchester.

Then, he grabbed 5-45 as the visitors were dismissed for a plucky 181.

On a sodden wicket, Risinghurst struggled to 115-8 as they entertained Garsington 2nd.

John Thompson (4-21) then disrupted their opponents’ reply which stuttered to 74 all out.

Westbury 2nd were shot out for 93 in their Division 6 game at home to Oxenford 2nd, David Gwynn taking 4-12.

However, it was anything but plain sailing for the hosts, who limped to a two-wicket win.

By contrast it was one-way traffic at Hanney where the Hilliams – James and Douglas – claimed 6-12 and 4-10 respectively, as Minster Lovell 2nd were humbled for 24.

This came in response to Hanney’s 111, in which Douglas Hilliam top-scored with 41.

A cracking Division 7 match at Broughton & North Newington 2nd saw Ducklington skittled for 90, with Sami Chaudhary bagging 5-18.

But led by Bradley Bryant’s 4-37, the visitors then dismissed the home side for 85.

In a decent game at Oxford Brookes University in Division 8, Cowley Internationals 2nd posted 175-7, Aizaz Khan top-scoring with 64 not out.

A spirited response from Chadlington 2nd fell just short, however, as they were bowled out for 139.

In Division 9, Britwell Salome 2nd’s Nigel Joyner cracked an unbeaten 127 in his side’s 204-7.

Opponents Chesterton 2nd were then restricted to 138.

At Kennington in Division 10, skipper Mark Trafford led by example with 30 not out in the home side’s 175-7 against Stanton Harcourt 2nd.

His club chairman, Norm Robins, then weighed in with 4-28 to limit the response to 142.
