Jamie Perkin hit 93 off 96 balls as Oxford reached round two of the Club Conference Cricket Cup with a 39-run success at Valley End.
The opener’s fine knock, which contained eight fours and five sixes saw the visitors post 224-8 off their 45 overs in Surrey.
Andrew Clough then took 4-28 as Oxford bowled out their hosts after 42 overs.
