Chipping Norton’s Alice Powell completed her return to the competition by beating championship leader Toby Sowery in successive races to win in rounds five and six at Rockingham yesterday.

Gale Force Racing’s Powell led throughout to hand the squad a maiden victory.

She said on her Twitter account: “A nice two wins out of two today in @F3Cup ! Some nice tough racing and Toby made me work for it! Big thanks to @Galeforceracing
