WATERSKI-ING: Nutt gets a call-up

Standlake's Katie Nutt has been selected for the Under 14s British Team for the European and African Junior Championships in Sesena, Spain, in August.

Nutt, 13, who attends Bartholomew School and trains at Oxford Wake and Ski Club with coach Steve Glanfield, took part in the Malibu Multi Event at Hazelwood, Lincoln.

Nutt, who competes in National Division 1, was second in the trick event, scoring a personal best of 2,950 points and also did the same in the slalom event of two buoys at 14m, where she was equal third with a jump of 11.8m.

Nutt, sponsored by Vision Motorsport Ltd & Mastercraft Boats, is next in action at Thorpe Park on June 10.
