BICESTER light welterweight Daza Usher believes he is more than capable of pulling off a shock win against Eren Arif at York Hall, Bethnal Green, tomorrow.

Usher, 30, who has won six of his seven professional bouts, having lost only once, said it had always been his ambition to box at the famous east London venue.

And he is confident he can come away with the victory in four three-minute rounds.

But he recognises he faces a stern challenge against his London-based rival who has lost only once in six contests.

“He will be the ‘home fighter’ and will have a large backing, but I will not let this deter me,” said Usher.

He added: “I am in great shape and have dedicated myself to training in preparation for this fight.

“I’m 100 per cent confident in my fitness and skill-set that I can cause the upset.”
