MITCH Lees said joining Exeter Chiefs was too good an opportunity to turn down.
The Australian lock/back-row forward will leave London Welsh at the end of the season to move to the Aviva Premiership side.
Lees, 25, who has been a stand-out player in the Championship since joining Welsh last summer, has signed a two-year deal with the Chiefs.
“I’m really excited by the move, I’ve had a great season with London Welsh and really enjoyed my time there, but moving to the Chiefs is an opportunity I couldn’t turn down,” he said.
“This is only my second year as a professional player, so this move has come a lot earlier than I imagined it would have done.”
