MARLON James and Carly Bloomfield claimed a hat-trick apiece as Riverside recovered from a dreadful start to win 6-2 at home to Bletchingdon in the Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division.

The visitors raced into a two-goal lead with strikes from Joe Goodgame and Ryan Ives.

But Riverside hit back to go in at the break in front, thanks to a double from James and a Bloomfield strike.

The pair completed their hauls in the second half to seal a comfortable win.

Sean Hurcombe also claimed a treble as a 3-1 win saw Oxford University Press beat Freeland to climb into the top five.

Lewis White notched the home side’s reply.

Matt Baker scored the only goal of the game as Stonesfield won at home to Adderbury Park.

A superb first-half display set hosts Broughton & North Newington on the way to a 6-0 win against Charlton United in Division 1.

They were 5-0 up by the interval, thanks to doubles from Jonny Hopcraft and Johnathon Bedding, along with one from Kevin Cooper.

Hopcraft completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot in the second half.

Cameron Knight bagged a brace as visitors Mansfield Road twice came from behind to beat Chalgrove on a penalty shoot-out in the President’s Cup semi-final.

The home side’s bright start was rewarded with an early goal from James Quainton.

Knight levelled and with no breakthrough after 90 minutes, the tie went into extra time.

Again Chalgrove edged ahead, this time through Bertie Proctor’s volley, but Knight struck in the 120th minute to set up a shootout.

Mansfield Road came out on top in the spot kicks, winning 4-1 to book a place in the final.

They will be up against Premier Division leaders Oakley, who won the other semi-final 4-2 at home to Kidlington Res.

Adderbury Park Res hit back to beat Freeland Res 4-1 at home and reach the Clarendon Cup final.

Ethan Simlett fired the visitors ahead, but Louis Winkworth, Neil Skidmore, Daniel Butler and Jake Smith replied to send the hosts comfortably through.

Sidiq Harris hit a hat-trick as North Oxford Res romped to an 8-2 win at Yarnton Res in the Ivor Gubbins Cup semi-final.

Luke Trotman (2), Steve Maloney, Dominic Bruno, Bruno Frietas completed the scoring for the visitors, who had been behind twice.

Jason Condor and Colin Stimpson had netted to give Yarnton an early advantage in the all-Division 4 clash.

North Oxford’s opponents will be OUP Res, who won 3-1 at fellow Division 3 side Bletchingdon Res.

Nolan Aselford’s double and one from Craig McMahon did the damage, while an own goal from Phil McCabe provided Bletchingdon’s sole consolation.

Matt Zequiri struck an equaliser to earn Mansfield Road Res a 1-1 draw at Eynsham Res in the Archie Goddard Cup Group C.
