OXFORD MAIL GIRLS LEAGUE
OXFORD City had to come from behind to beat Crowmarsh 2-1 and retain their place at the top of the Under 12 League table.
Alice Thorby fired the visitors in front after ten minutes, but City struck back, levelling 14 minutes later through Amanda Osarobonancy before Emily Green struck a late winner.
Chinnor overcame a late scare to see off Swindon Spitfires 4-3 in the Under 16/17 League.
The hosts led 4-1 coming into the final stages thanks to goals from Jo Taylor (2), Megan Sharp and Sarah Dougall, but conceded twice late on to set up a nervy ending.
Emma Broughton scored twice for Spitfires and Sarah Uzzell also netted for the visitors.
In the Under 11 league, there were braces for Molly Jones, Jasmin Nassar and Millie Collier as Oxford City were 7-2 winners at home to Rotherfield United.
Ella Littlewood was also on target for the hosts, while Amy Parrish and Sophie Atfield scored Rotherfield’s consolation efforts.
