CROSS COUNTRY
ROY Treadwell won a silver medal in the British Masters Athletic Federation (BMAF) Championships at Tollcross Park, Glasgow.
Treadwell (Oxford City) finished second in the vet 65 men’s category, having won the title last year.
The 66-year-old completed the challenging three-lap 6km course in 24mins 46secs to finish 37 seconds behind winner Robert Marshall (Morpeth Harriers).
City’s John Exley was fifth in 25.41.
Clubmate Stewart Thorp finished seventh in the vet 60 race over 8km, clocking 31.35.
